WELCOME TO COMICBANDIT PRESS!
This is a site dedicated to bringing you the best  Nigerian/African comic book and fiction content from aspiring and hopeful comic book artists and fiction writers on our continent.
Our goal is to serve as a platform for many of us who have tried and more often than not, failed to find a place where our work can be shown and seen by people around the globe.

or you can just skip straight to: Nigerian Comic Book Museum

HERE’S HOW IT WORKS?

FAN GALLERY

Dust off those old drawings, sweep away the cobwebs of your comic and superhero art laying in some dank corner of your room or  in some forgotten chest somewhere and send them to us and soon you will see your work up on the site for all to see! Don’t let your dreams go to waste, let the world know that the Nigerian imagination stretches beyond what they and a few numbskulls over here have come to expect of us. We love fiction of all genres, we love superheroes and we have a mythology of our own to tell.

Criteria for submission: It’s simple really. Scan and send your work pencils or inks, even color to COMICBANDITPRESS@GMAIL.COM or ADENIJI@COMICBANDIRPRESS.COM with a written email request to have your work put up in the ComicBandit Press Fan Gallery and that’s it!

FAN COMICS

Did you ever start a comic book but never finished? Is there a labor of  comic book love  hidden where only you and your friends can enjoy? Don’t be greedy! Share your work and let the world see what could have (and you never know) and might still be. The Fan Comics section is here for those of us who have created comics, and yet might not have taken it much further than a single issue or storyline. The comics don’t have to be complete, but they should at least leave off at a cliffhanger and we will not be expecting any follow ups. But why let your work fade into obscurity. Send them in now!

Criteria for submission: Same as with the Fan Gallery, send inyour scanned comic pages (pages must be inked, colored work is optional) and you will soon see it up in our very own Fan Comics section where readers can enjoy your creations.  And it doesn’t matter if it’s in color or not, just that is is inked. If your art work is colored then you will have to have lettered the work yourself prior to sending it in. ComicBandit Press may provide lettering for work done in black and white on request. In order for us to do this, you will also need to send in your script and a written request for us to letter your work.  All Fan Comics submitted by creators and artists must include a written request by the owners of the properties and titles to have their work displayed on the site.
